How to uninstall CMS from your PC

This web page is about CMS for Windows. Here you can find details on how to uninstall it from your PC. Usually the CMS program is installed in the C:\Program Files\CMS folder, depending on the user's option during setup. The full command line for uninstalling CMS is "C:\Program Files\CMS\uninstall.exe" "/U:C:\Program Files\CMS\Uninstall\uninstall.xml". Note that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you might receive a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file is titled CMS.exe and its approximative size is 1.93 MB (2019328 bytes).

Usually the following registry data will not be cleaned:

Open regedit.exe in order to delete the following registry values:

How to erase CMS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

 Some computer users choose to erase it. Sometimes this can be troublesome because removing this by hand requires some know-how regarding Windows internal functioning. The best QUICK approach to erase CMS is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find CMS or simply activate the Search feature and type in "CMS". If it is installed on your PC the CMS app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click CMS in the list of applications, some information regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding CMS, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you wish to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove CMS.

8. After uninstalling CMS, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of CMS which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling CMS using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
