Several files, folders and registry entries can not be removed when you want to remove BrowseMark from your computer.

Folders that were left behind:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\BrowseMark

Usually, the following files are left on disk:
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Local Storage\https_api.browsemark.net_0.localstorage
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\DOMStore\2E035H64\api.browsemark[1].xml
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\BrowseMark_iels
  • C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\BrowseMark_iels

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{A2D733A7-73B0-4C6B-B0C7-06A432950B66}
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\BrowseMark_RASAPI32
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Tracing\BrowseMark_RASMANCS

Use regedit.exe to remove the following additional registry values from the Windows Registry:
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{5A4E3A41-FA55-4BDA-AED7-CEBE6E7BCB52}\InprocServer32\
  • HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{A2D733A7-73B0-4C6B-B0C7-06A432950B66}\1.0\0\win32\

A way to remove BrowseMark with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BrowseMark is a program offered by the software company BrowseMark. Sometimes, users choose to remove it. This is hard because deleting this manually requires some experience related to removing Windows programs manually. The best EASY approach to remove BrowseMark is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your Windows PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful uninstaller and general utility to optimize your Windows PC.

  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD NOW button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's interface and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful PC management program.

3. Click on the General Tools category

5. All the programs existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find BrowseMark or simply activate the Search field and type in "BrowseMark". If it exists on your system the BrowseMark app will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click BrowseMark in the list of applications, some information about the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about BrowseMark, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the app you are about to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall BrowseMark.

8. After removing BrowseMark, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong BrowseMark which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By removing BrowseMark using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your PC will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
