A guide to uninstall Bitcoin from your PC

A way to delete Bitcoin from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Bitcoin is a program marketed by the software company Bitcoin project. Sometimes, computer users decide to remove this program. Sometimes this can be troublesome because performing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. The best EASY practice to remove Bitcoin is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to clean your PC.

  • navigate to Download Link
  • download the setup by clicking on the green DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to get familiar with the program's design and number of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a powerful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature

5. All the applications installed on the computer will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Bitcoin or simply activate the Search field and type in "Bitcoin". If it exists on your system the Bitcoin application will be found very quickly. When you select Bitcoin in the list of programs, the following data regarding the application is available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Bitcoin, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the application you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall Bitcoin.

8. After removing Bitcoin, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of Bitcoin that have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing Bitcoin with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
