How to uninstall BOINC from your system

Keep in mind that if you will type this command in Start / Run Note you may receive a notification for admin rights. The application's main executable file is called boinc.exe and it has a size of 1.37 MB (1435456 bytes).

How to uninstall BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is a program marketed by Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Frequently, users want to remove this program. This can be difficult because doing this by hand takes some knowledge regarding Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE manner to remove BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here is how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very potent uninstaller and general tool to clean your Windows system.

• visit Download Link
• download the program by pressing the green DOWNLOAD button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take some time to get familiar with Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of utilities.

3. Press the General Tools button


4. Click on the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications installed on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find BOINC or simply activate the Search feature and type in "BOINC". The BOINC app will be found automatically. After you click BOINC in the list of programs, the following information about the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have about BOINC, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Technical information about the app you wish to uninstall, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will show up. accept the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove BOINC.


8. After uninstalling BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items of BOINC which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or directories are left behind on your PC.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
