A way to uninstall BOINC from your system

How to uninstall BOINC from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is an application by Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Some computer users decide to uninstall this program. This can be troublesome because uninstalling this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. The best SIMPLE practice to uninstall BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Here are some detailed instructions about how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your PC, install it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very efficient uninstaller and general utility to clean your system.

• go to Download Link
• download the setup by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
• set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools button


4. Press the Uninstall Programs feature


5. All the applications existing on the PC will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate BOINC or simply click the Search field and type in "BOINC". If it exists on your system the BOINC program will be found very quickly. When you click BOINC in the list of programs, the following data about the application is available to you:

• Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other users have about BOINC, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will show up. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall BOINC.


8. After uninstalling BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items that belong BOINC that have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling BOINC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry items, files or folders are left behind on your system.

Your computer will remain clean, speedy and ready to run without errors or problems.
