A way to erase BOINC using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is a program released by the software company Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Some users try to uninstall it. Sometimes this is hard because uninstalling this manually requires some experience related to Windows internal functioning. The best SIMPLE manner to uninstall BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO on your Windows PC, install it. This is good because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and all around tool to clean your Windows system.

  • download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD button
  • set up Advanced Uninstaller PRO
2. Run Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take some time to admire the program's design and wealth of features available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system utility.

3. Press the General Tools category

4. Click on the Uninstall Programs tool

5. All the applications installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate BOINC or simply click the Search feature and type in "BOINC". If it exists on your system the BOINC app will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click BOINC in the list of apps, the following information regarding the program is shown to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). This tells you the opinion other users have regarding BOINC, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will show up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall BOINC.

8. After removing BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run a cleanup. Click Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong BOINC which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them. By uninstalling BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.

Your Windows computer will remain clean, speedy and able to run without errors or problems.
