How to uninstall BOINC from your PC

A way to erase BOINC from your computer with Advanced Uninstaller PRO

BOINC is a program by Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley. Sometimes, people try to erase this application. This is hard because removing this by hand takes some advanced knowledge related to removing Windows applications by hand. One of the best EASY manner to erase BOINC is to use Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take the following steps on how to do this:





1. If you don't have Advanced Uninstaller PRO already installed on your system, add it. This is a good step because Advanced Uninstaller PRO is the best uninstaller and general tool to take care of your computer.

• download the program by pressing the DOWNLOAD NOW button
• install Advanced Uninstaller PRO

2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. Take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and number of functions available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful package of tools.

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs tool


5. A list of the applications existing on your computer will be shown to you

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find BOINC or simply activate the Search feature and type in "BOINC". The BOINC program will be found very quickly. Notice that when you click BOINC in the list of apps, some information about the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). This explains the opinion other users have about BOINC, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".

7. Click the Uninstall button. A window asking you to confirm will appear. Confirm the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall BOINC.


8. After uninstalling BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of BOINC which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your disk.
