Some files and registry entries are regularly left behind when you uninstall BOINC.

How to uninstall BOINC from your PC with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

3. Click on the General Tools category


4. Press the Uninstall Programs button


5. A list of the programs installed on the computer will be shown to you

6. Navigate the list of programs until you find BOINC or simply click the Search field and type in "BOINC". If it exists on your system the BOINC program will be found automatically. Notice that when you click BOINC in the list , the following information about the program is shown to you:

• Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have about BOINC, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
• Details about the program you wish to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.

7. Click the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will appear. Confirm the uninstall by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then remove BOINC.


8. After removing BOINC, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items that belong BOINC which have been left behind will be detected and you will be able to delete them. By removing BOINC with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no registry entries, files or folders are left behind on your system.
