How to erase Atom from your computer using Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Atom is a program by GitHub Inc.. Sometimes, people try to remove it. This is difficult because removing this manually takes some know-how related to Windows internal functioning. 3. Press the General Tools button

5. A list of the applications existing on your PC will appear

6. Scroll the list of applications until you locate Atom or simply activate the Search field and type in "Atom". If it is installed on your PC the Atom application will be found very quickly. Notice that when you select Atom in the list of applications, some information regarding the program is made available to you:


  • Star rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating explains the opinion other people have regarding Atom, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Press the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the program you want to uninstall, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the removal by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will remove Atom.

8. After removing Atom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to go ahead with the cleanup. All the items of Atom that have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
