A way to delete Atom from your computer with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

Atom is an application by GitHub Inc.. Sometimes, users decide to remove this program. This is easier said than done because removing this by hand requires some knowledge regarding Windows program uninstallation. 2. Start Advanced Uninstaller PRO. It's recommended to take your time to admire Advanced Uninstaller PRO's design and wealth of tools available. Advanced Uninstaller PRO is a very useful system optimizer.

3. Click on the General Tools category

4. Press the Uninstall Programs button

5. A list of the applications existing on the PC will be made available to you

6. Navigate the list of applications until you find Atom or simply click the Search field and type in "Atom". If it is installed on your PC the Atom application will be found automatically. After you select Atom in the list of apps, the following data regarding the application is made available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other people have regarding Atom, from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you want to remove, by clicking on the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will appear. accept the removal by pressing Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will then uninstall Atom.

8. After removing Atom, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will offer to run an additional cleanup. Press Next to perform the cleanup. All the items that belong Atom which have been left behind will be detected and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By uninstalling Atom with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you are assured that no Windows registry items, files or directories are left behind on your system.
