If you are manually uninstalling AppCleaner we recommend you to check if the following data is left behind on your PC.

You should delete the folders below after you uninstall AppCleaner:

• C:\Program Files\AppCleaner
• C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\AppCleaner

Check for and remove the following files from your disk when you uninstall AppCleaner:

• C:\Program Files\AppCleaner\Cleaner.Lib.dll
• C:\Program Files\AppCleaner\Cleaner.Win.exe
• C:\Program Files\AppCleaner\Settings.conf
• C:\Program Files\AppCleaner\sqlite3.exe

You will find in the Windows Registry that the following keys will not be uninstalled; remove them one by one using regedit.exe:

A way to erase AppCleaner with the help of Advanced Uninstaller PRO

AppCleaner is a program by UpdateStar GmbH. Frequently, users decide to erase this application. 6. Navigate the list of programs until you find AppCleaner or simply activate the Search field and type in "AppCleaner". If it exists on your system the AppCleaner app will be found automatically. Notice that when you select AppCleaner in the list of applications, some data regarding the application is made available to you:

• Safety rating (in the left lower corner). The star rating tells you the opinion other users have regarding AppCleaner, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
• Reviews by other users - Press the Read reviews button.
• Details regarding the program you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking Uninstall. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall AppCleaner.


8. After uninstalling AppCleaner, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to proceed with the cleanup. All the items of AppCleaner which have been left behind will be found and you will be able to delete them.
