A way to uninstall Accounts from your system

Accounts is a Windows application. Read more about how to remove it from your computer. The Windows release was developed by Sage (UK) Ltd. More information on Sage (UK) Ltd can be seen here. More details about the software Accounts can be seen at . The application is often found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Sage\Accounts directory (same installation drive as Windows). You can uninstall Accounts by clicking on the Start menu of Windows and pasting the command line MsiExec.exe /X{04F1CBB2-A09E-4A84-BAD7-38FBBC89CF6E}. Note that you might be prompted for administrator rights. Sage50AccountsBackupManager.exe is the programs's main file and it takes close to 96.50 KB (98816 bytes) on disk.

6. Scroll the list of applications until you find Accounts or simply click the Search feature and type in "Accounts". If it exists on your system the Accounts application will be found very quickly. Notice that after you click Accounts in the list of apps, the following information about the application is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This explains the opinion other people have about Accounts, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Opinions by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details about the application you are about to remove, by pressing the Properties button.

7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation window will come up. accept the uninstall by clicking the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will automatically uninstall Accounts.
