A way to uninstall AVG from your computer

5. All the applications existing on the PC will appear

6. Navigate the list of applications until you locate AVG or simply click the Search feature and type in "AVG". If it exists on your system the AVG app will be found automatically. Notice that after you select AVG in the list of applications, the following information regarding the program is available to you:


  • Safety rating (in the lower left corner). This tells you the opinion other people have regarding AVG, ranging from "Highly recommended" to "Very dangerous".
  • Reviews by other people - Click on the Read reviews button.
  • Details regarding the app you want to remove, by pressing the Properties button.
7. Press the Uninstall button. A confirmation page will come up. Confirm the removal by pressing the Uninstall button. Advanced Uninstaller PRO will uninstall AVG.

8. After uninstalling AVG, Advanced Uninstaller PRO will ask you to run an additional cleanup. Click Next to start the cleanup. All the items of AVG which have been left behind will be found and you will be asked if you want to delete them. By removing AVG with Advanced Uninstaller PRO, you can be sure that no Windows registry items, files or folders are left behind on your PC.
